Engagement from an Expert and Entertainer
There is a wave of Speakers discussing Engagement who are very good at what they do but haven’t done thousands of hours in the workplace, in HR, interviewing executives, as well as made a living as a Piano Bar performer, until you meet Greg Offner. His story is fascinating, heartbreaking, and in progression, a wonderful resolution to bring a Tip Jar Culture to a workplace sorely in need of it. I love the examples, I laughed out loud, as well as made me think about how I can apply these principles to what I teach in my position at work and apply to leadership. For a Chief People Officer this is a MUST READ!
As a CPO (Chief People Officer) with over 15 years of experience, “The Tip Jar Culture” was a refreshing read on what it really means to have a culture of engagement but with a flair of the entertainment industry! (It is an easy, but informative read!) However, when I read books on culture, what makes a book the BEST book is when it has the tangible takeaways and actual steps you can take inside your organization and he does this in each chapter.
